Shoden - Reiki Level I

 Shoden means the first level of teaching in the traditional Japanese branch of Reiki called Usui Reiki Ryoho. This foundational level is crucial for individuals who are beginning their journey into the practice of Reiki, as it introduces them to the essential principles and techniques that form the basis of this healing art. During the Shoden level, students learn about the history and philosophy of Reiki, including the life and teachings of Mikao Usui, the founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho.  In addition to historical context, the Shoden level covers the fundamental hand positions used in Reiki healing sessions, enabling practitioners to channel healing energy effectively.
